2010 Imiev charging question

I have recently bought a 2010 Imiev,   unfortunately at the time i was unaware of the charging hardware limitations with the 2010 model, that being it cannot be charged from public chargepoints, or my own podpoint charger, i have been advised by members here that the 2010 model cannot communicate wi...

yeah, it needs a mod done, i tested it by trying to charge with our podpoint charger,   didnt work.    the mod involves the replacement of the cabling from the charge plug on the car side, and sending it off to be modded.

Finally have a BEV. to compliment the PHEV. now to learn the intricacies of this awesome little machine.    First, found out you cannot charge it with the standard PHEV EVSE, this is the 2010 model, so the charge cable doesnt not have the brick in it. http://forums.aeva.asn.au/uploads/4295/IMG_8646_...

In the above post, I omitted to mention a small incident that did put a bit of a dampener on my otherwise positive charging experience. About ten minutes later, the young male driver returned and started to reverse out. He then stopped, lowered the passenger window and said something to me. Unfortu...

Checked int Miranda Chargepoint station, and all spots have been rebranded with BMW, painted black.   still not complaining though, good to see, looks like BMW might have seen what Tesla is doing, not just making EV's but also building a infrastructure network as well.

Sadly i have come to the conclusion that i have to sell the Outlander PHEV Aspire model, i have in the back yard, original plan was to use it as a donar car to build a custom EV from a Suzuki Jimny or similar, second option was to remove the battery and make my own Powerwall to charge up from our So...

What to replace i-MiEV with?

Hippie403 wrote: Would it be possible to rebuild an i-MiEV pack with LEV75 cells?

I have been wondering if you could do the same with the Outlander pack, replace the 45's with the 70's..    i do have a wrecked complete outlander in the back yard, but dont have the time or money to experiment.
