2010 Imiev charging question

interesting, but it looks like something that might not be able to be changed on a public access destination charger,    Also, much to my embarrassment, the 2 destination chargers i used, the one at Eastern creek raceway, and the altuma Hotel not far from there, both were not working (or switched of...

2010 Imiev charging question

iMiev Recall notice

Would it be safer to disable it until it is replaced? HELL NO...    its recalled because it might fail 1% of the time, or cause injury ,   so if you ever need it, its still got a 99% or more chance of working safely, but if you disconnect it, it has a 100% change of failure and causing injury.

yeah, it needs a mod done, i tested it by trying to charge with our podpoint charger,   didnt work.    the mod involves the replacement of the cabling from the charge plug on the car side, and sending it off to be modded.

Finally have a BEV. to compliment the PHEV. now to learn the intricacies of this awesome little machine.    First, found out you cannot charge it with the standard PHEV EVSE, this is the 2010 model, so the charge cable doesnt not have the brick in it. http://forums.aeva.asn.au/uploads/4295/IMG_8646_...

In the above post, I omitted to mention a small incident that did put a bit of a dampener on my otherwise positive charging experience. About ten minutes later, the young male driver returned and started to reverse out. He then stopped, lowered the passenger window and said something to me. Unfortu...
