shame it looks like a Yaris on a March Micra base, they should have consulted with the Nissan team responsible for the B-platform based Figaro, PAO & Be-1 etc. After all they own nissan and use Nissans Micra base in their badged versions or renault hatches. Ren had to come up with something to diffe...

US sourced chassis and body ummm explains the tackiness for a 21st century supercar, very LA 90s styling instead. Advertising as in getting out there in any medium free or other Unique look is the issue though, it could easily be spiced up with fibreglass & wheels like Proton did to the Mitsu lancer. Consumers today want styling to say look at me Im different form other sheep while the Prius does stand out. It ...

Richo's AC Handi Sports

I remember my 83 suzuki hatch was rated at 560kg while ice gear was about 100kg or 460kg as a "glider". Didnt have the aero of the Handi but all these "Kei" cars are so small they are great candidates for EV converts.

With the amount of crap Prius drivers get I dont blame them. Prius guages teach you to be drifty in fuel with smoother driving but Many Prius drivers are just like everybody else except instead of buying something similarly priced that is just like everything else they wanted to try something differ...

All along read the batt pack should be the last in a Ev project. One of the most challenging issues for me is the "total battery pack" I would like a Lithium pack but "who" can provide me a pack with the complete pack, eg. battery equaliser, matching charger and the rest. I would like a 72 volt pack...

Chevy Volt Meets High Resistance, GM Suspends Sale

Thanks guys I felt the initial marketing glamour was to secure their loans in the coming well known uncertain economical crisis. I felt back in the 90s the EV1 had been taken in by consumers, celebrities and media better than the volt now yet ended with big oil calling the last shots. I hope not, as...

Making EVs commercially in AU: If not NOW, When?

It was pointed out to me the other night by a converted-car owner that he thought he had made an error in converting a relatively old honda. gholm's Morris J2 Van- 1966

if you park in your drive way you can just use it as an excuse to stretch your legs by keeping them straight as you bend down for the cord and lay it out :)

Otherwise a buried cable with an outdoor outlet wouldnt be too bad but you already thought of that.

Great project and again congratulations!
