Feel sorry for the owner, that's a 118TSI, the model that's known for engine failures.

Would it be an idea to locate charging bays away from the main car park? Such as the loading dock, kerbside around the shopping complex, etc. Just to set it further apart from regular parking spots.

How about traffic cones? I've seen that at a few public charging places, it might make a simple deterrent.

That goes against my understanding. Reecho stated in an earlier post that the only LEAFs built in the UK are the updated models. If you're ever around Bexley you're welcome to test your car on my Volt EVSE.

Probably so people won't do stupid things like plug the EVSE into a power board along with their microwave and fridge.

The car can draw 13A if it's available but the supplied EVSE only delivers around 10A.

The Volt EVSE is the cheapest and easiest option if you only need to charge at 10A. I have one mounted at home and use the Jaycar adapter at work with the supplied EVSE and both options work fine for me.
