I live in Parramatta, not far from you and Mark.
I don't have an EV, unfortunately, but I will be at the food and chat at Terrey Hills this coming Tuesday, and at the Branch meetings.

03/03/2009 - Food and chat at Terrey Hills.
Tuesday the third of March (03/03/2009) there will be food and chat at the Terrey Hills Tavern. This is a completely social event. There is no agenda, no subject matter, and no structure. Simply rock up, hang out, eat some food, and chat. (Warning: Chat subjects may contain non-EV related materials)...

Hey Bj,
Just checked out your blog, and some of your pics. Nice site. I'd like to hear more about what you're doing with solar.
Sorry to hear that you've had to shelve the conversion for the time being.

In your state, perhaps.antiscab wrote:just note that 200w is the legal limit for un-licenced bikes.
Pocket-bikes are not allowed off of private property in NSW, and neither are electric scooters.
Here the 200w "law" applies only to electric-assist bicycles.

Australia's Capital Territory : No information as yet. New South Wales : In NSW, an electric-assist bicycle is legal up to the power of 200 watts, on the condition that the primary "power source" for the bicycle is the human riding it. Mobility scooters are also legal for the purpose of transportin...

Hi everyone, Seeing that a lot of us like to play small before we go on to life sized projects, I've noticed a number of people have electric kick-scooters. There is a lot of confusion on the legality of these. For instance, I have been told that in NSW they are legal as long as the motor is 200 wat...

Hey Tassie Tiger,
The kind of area you're talking about is being discussed, but it hasn't appeared on the forums because we're not sure if it will be part of the forums, or part of the main website.
It'll come, we're just not sure of when and where as yet.

Why are you into EV's
This topic has been difficult for me. I wanted to respond right away when it was first posted, but I looked at the options presented int he first post, and thought to myself "Am I really in to EVs?" The answer is probably no. Other than a remote control car and a remote control boat, when I was a ki...

Hey everyone,
With the addition of a few new forum areas, a lot of posts have been getting moved in to those areas.
If you have a post that you can't find, and it relates to motors, controllers, batteries or BMS, it's probably in the appropriate forum in the new Technical section.

I need a graphic artist.
Someone to put together a couple of pictures/graphics to be used on the website.
I'm looking at the first of your options (a graphic at the top, then standard HTML for the rest of it).

(Second link wouldn't load for me)

Time frame: I'm in process of designing a new AEVA website - the graphic is "next" on my mental list, but I have other things that I can get on with for the time being.
