Ozgrown Electric 1/4 mile Doorslammer

I would personally go DC siamese 9" motors (Siamese 11inch anyone?). The benefits are being able to switch between torque mode, and power mode, in exactly the same way that White Zombie does. Electric motors that don't do this, just can't achieve the top speed required to be a quick drag vehicle. --...

Hey Bruce, Removing posts is something that we're fairly reluctant to do. With 89 posts to your name, you've contributed to varying discussions, and people have responded to your posts. Making these posts disappear removes chunks of these discussions, and the conversation just won't look normal. --S...

WTB iMac.

Hey all,

I'm after a cheap G4 or G5 iMac for my mother, as I'm sick of her phoning me every few days with yet an other computer issue that I'm going to have to fix.

If anyone has one of these that they don't want anymore, please let me know.

I like the flowerpot style iMac.

Hey Gow, I've just had a look through our statistical abilities with this forum software, and it is extremely limited. Aside from going through every member one by one, and manually putting the data in to graphing software (I don't know about Andrew, but I'm sure not about to do this), we don't have...

Advertising and linking policy.

Hey all, I thought that the AEVA forums policy on advertising and linking should be clarified. The AEVA forums do not allow commercial advertising, or messages that do nothing other than advertise businesses, websites (including other EV forums), or products. AEVA regular members and corporate membe...

Nice spam.
Don't you think that making your first two posts on an associations website advertisements for your own forums is a bit rude?

I don't remember you approaching any of the moderating team asking if advertising competing websites is allowed.

New AEVA Shirts

These shirts are top quality, and available to everyone, not just AEVA members. Just click on the link in Mark's post above, and you will be taken to the online store where you can have a look at the designs, and buy one.

I've got one on the way, and more on order :P

*yawn*

1250 kilos? I thought they were touting the fact that it was light?
Drop another 250 kilos, and make an electric version, then I'll be impressed.

Electric/AEVA/renewable car stickers

Hey Peter,

Getting stickers "made" is the easy part.

Getting people (especially in an association) to agree on a design is an entirely different story.

Do you know anyone who could give designing these stickers a shot?

Save the environment, get an iPhone with built-in GPS and google maps :-) I would adore an iPhone, but the credit rating won't let me get on to one of the contract plans, and I don't have the cash hanging around to buy one outright. The fact that an iPhone on a contract costs around $300 (or less d...
