Heating for a 72V conversion
Yeah don't run you a/c backwards! Nichrome/cuprothal too much of a fire hazard so don't use that either. Although if a bug makes it that far in the vent it deserves to fry! If you are concerned that a 1500W heater will only give you 600W and is not enough why not use 2? Heating the existing core sou...

Air heaters are just nichrome wire - you can buy it at tricky dickies!

Most batteries are rated to how many cycles they expect over thier life. SLA are rated around 500-1000 cycles. So if you used it 5 times a week 52 weeks a year it would last 2-4 years. How far you can go depends on how big the pack is. If you want a 30km round trip then you buy the pack size to suit...

Don't think so. We could look at it from another perspective. Lets say he could get 185Nm at the back wheel continuous up to 100km/hr. This is a force of just over 600N at the wheel. Taking into account the bike + rider this is an acceleration of 2.63m/s^2. So to get to 100km/hr this would be about ...

I agree it is a nice setup you have planned. However I was just reading your blog. What "250cc performance" do you think you will get? I was looking at a Ninja250 which does over 600Nm at the wheels in first gear. So a Mars@300A is about 33Nm so a gear ratio of 18.2:1 gives you the same performance....
