at $10K they should be allowed to keep the old pack considering in japan there replacing them for under $3K

it is easy enough to shorten half-shafts its the frame mounting points are the hard part to move but not impossible

As a matter of interest on the safety side, is the chemistry of these cells as safe as the LFP and LYP chemistries in regards to explosion/fire? Aren't they exchange? Nissan has to make money somehow and a couple grand for a 24+kwh seems too cheap to be making a profit if it's filled with new cells. So I'd say they are probably 2nd hand cells that have been tested or Nissan are selling the exchange cells for a mint. Also I thought they had ...
