As a matter of interest on the safety side, is the chemistry of these cells as safe as the LFP and LYP chemistries in regards to explosion/fire? motors $4K and $3K but you still need to but controllers for them

Aren't they exchange? Nissan has to make money somehow and a couple grand for a 24+kwh seems too cheap to be making a profit if it's filled with new cells. So I'd say they are probably 2nd hand cells that have been tested or Nissan are selling the exchange cells for a mint. Also I thought they had ...

that charger wont work with the packs built in BMS's, so you will have no balancing

and if you just use the BMS's that are built in to the packs then you will need 10 smaller chargers

One of my jobs is trying to prepare our businesses for the increase in electric vehicle volumes by making sure enough energy can be carried along the grid to supply them all. Without these preparations, I fear that we may slow down EV growth rather than enable it. a good start would be stop pulling...
