No Melbourne November meeting

Hi all - to those thinking of heading to the Melb meeting this coming Wednesday, apologies but there isn't one! (Due to the AEVA conference and AGM being in Tas that week). I for one will be in Tas for the conference, AGM and CMC. Hoping to see as many of you as I can whilst there. :)

Cheers

Quick answers to both of above posts: 1. Zoe & Kangoo ZE only available direct through Renault Australia, NOT through the dealer network! Details: http://www.renault.com.au/news/all and follow the links; 2. In May the Vic group went to Renault headquarters in Mulgrave (Melbourne) to see Kangoo ZE & ...

Re: WTB: 90Ah (or 100Ah) Winston cells x 9

Hi Terry - they're Thundersky LFP90Ah.
Max charge current is 3C, standard charge current is 0.3C.
Size: 217mm x 61mm x 145 mm. (Although exact size is not that important - can reconfigure the blocks to suit anything close to that).
Vmax 4.25V, Vmin 2.5V.

Thanks for looking!

Re: WTB: 90Ah (or 100Ah) Winston cells x 9

Good question - however it's a 96V system - dropping 15V would be a deal-breaker and pulling out another 10 or so would make it's range just that bit too low!

WTB: 90Ah (or 100Ah) Winston cells x 9

Hi everyone - am trying to fix a former Blade Getz that over discharged its battery pack recently and wiped out 9 cells in the process. Does anyone have any they would like to sell? The owner is not flush with cash and would struggle to afford the cost of 9 new ones. (Apart from the vagaries of tryi...

Bamocar 3 phase motor controllers for sale: brand new

Hi everyone - advertising on behalf of the Melbourne Uni Formula SAE race team. (This is their first year of building an EV for the event!). Due to an ordering mix-up, they have ended up with four (instead of two) AC motor controllers. One option is to send them back, the other is to see if there is...

Anyone run their EV from home battery storage?

Thanks guys - Robyn will be happy to hear from you all! BTW: she works Mon-Thurs so won't reply now to you till Monday. Anyone run their EV from home battery storage?

Hi all - have had a request from the editor of ReNew magazine as to whether I knew of anyone who uses home battery storage (either grid connect or off-grid) to charge their EV overnight with. I don't directly know of anyone - but seem to remember one or two members here do? If you are interested in ...

Hi all - car now sold - and happy to say purchaser is having it repaired by slotting in a matching motor/controller. Hi all - have had much more interest in my 2011 Blade as parts than in one piece - which surprises me as it would be a fantastic entry to the conversion field. All the hard work (including certification) has been done - just install your choice of controller, do whatever interesting tweaks you had i...

Key fob battery

How to change it is also in the owner manual. However there is usually a reminder on the dashboard for a while letting you know the key fob battery is getting low, so a sudden demise without that may mean a dead key fob.

Hi all - am having a garage clean up and decided to apply the '12 months rule'. (If a project does not receive significant attention in 12 months, its not going to happen). So time for it to go!.
