Re: Replacement Battery Options for 2012 i-MiEV?

I wonder if a shunt trick could be a work around. I know in other vehicles the battery ecu measures current independently to that of the mc, for the purpose of soc calculation. The system may not check to see if the two values agree. You could use two high current 50mv shunts to act as a current spl...

Re: Importing a Leaf into Western Australia

It's probably better value to have a few 15A power point installed than an evse. Cheaper and less risk of any installed equipment becoming obsolete.

No WA importers, not yet anyway. The 30kw leaf doesn't handle high WA temperatures all that well.

Leaf and imiev have stayed flat at around 15k and 20k respectively for the past few years, even as the average odo readings have crept up

It's a bit early for Zoe, they've only been available to mere mortals since July

Looks like you can get Headway 15ah cells for 20AU on alibaba ($1300 for 64 cells), plus shipping and taxes. Might be able to get them to say their value is under 1k for customs... heard it's a fairly common thing for them to do That only works if the cells are sent by common carrier, auspost, Chin...

And to make sure you can get the job completely done, this kit comes with four 75Ah batteries Seems to have an 8 hour run time, if it takes you more than 8 hours to mow your lawn you...

The last option is also quite expensive, but worthwhile if he plans to bring lots in and sell them. He won't be able to register it until that work is done though

Is it too late to pretend his identity has been stolen and he has nothing to do with the bike in bond store?
