Is the EV already obsolete?
About engine oil Back in the 80's I saw an episode of Beyond/Towards 2000 a couple of guys using a drill as a pump a toilet paper roll wound twice as tight (with the card board inner removed) as a filter, they cleaned engine oil 100% clear and reuseable. For under $200 this could be set up on any en...

Multiple Motors vs Transmissions
Then lets design a road rocket that does 200kmph and does 200km at 1200kg mass, 2 motor's to 2 half shaft's rear wheel drive. "However, if you want to build yourself a road rocket, it is most definitely the way to go." Im looking to improve the image of the EV (not half brids)where do you start. Hel...

Multiple Motors vs Transmissions
I am curious about the concept of individual, smaller motors on each drive shaft of a wheel rather than a singular motor going through a power hungry gearbox and differential. So am i. More so the motor sizing in AC. Enginering them to fit is easy, rearwheel drive with half shafts. My understanding...

Mitsubishi has broken the record for distance with the Mitsubishi Eclips, and FTO. In 1998 from memory still besting the Tesla. The FTO is my choice of conver...

Sorry, about that link.
Dont want to hijack your Q? though I feel you shouldn't put a pure EV against a hybrid.
What is common between the Rv4 EV,Ford Ranger EV, EV1? Tropica? All production EV's
Some are still going on original batteries (of course not EV1).
