Re: Inverters in parallel to power a house

Yes, wife hit up a 2000 watt chip cooker and I would say that 2 fridges and 2 freezers were drawing at the same time! The circuit breaker is 100 amps DC. Not using AC breaker for my solar standalone. Have a new 4000 watt latronics 24 volt inverter under my feet. Plan is to swap it out with the 3kw a...

Re: Nickel Iron Batteries real data

The warranty is 6 months. So I would suggest no-one in their right minds buy Iron Edison Batteries. Very expensive for the bank I needed, between $10,000 and $15,000! So I am very glad I did go ahead with the purchase. I may be wrong but I am of the opinion that the earlier non chinese edison batter...

Re: Inverters in parallel to power a house

Out of curiousity what do you use for a circuit breaker between the the inverters and battery bank?
Mine is 100amp and dumps out if our 3kw latronics has too bigger draw forced on it!

Re: Nickel Iron Batteries real data

Be warned anyone thinking of purchasing Iron Edison batteries that the cases will split and fail in less than 5 years!
Absolute waste of money. I purchased a small 10 amp unit to experiment with and use for some leds in the house.
Nearly $300 and the cell cases literally fell apart!

Re: AVASS cells 2nd lot

If anyone decides to sell any of the bus packs at any time please give me a ring after 7pm all nights.

I need enough to make at least 400 amps at 24 volts minimum.
