Re: Flat tyre experience

No I haven't but this is certainly good advice - I've wondered whether even keeping a spare rubber tyre at home (let alone the whole wheel is a good idea) but the Local Bob Jane guy said not to worry as he would have in in a day or 2. What bolts did you use if the car originals wouldn't go on? Also,...

Re: First Zoe Service!

Hi Lou, No issues at all so far. The orange service light has come on and the car gives you about 30 days notice to book. I will let you know how the service experience goes. T

First Zoe Service!

Hi All, My Zoe is booked into Renault Essendon for its first service on 13 March 2019 - about a week over but I'm away next week. Does anyone have any thoughts on the servicing - should I get things like wiper blades replaced? I think only thing the dealer will replace is the air con cabin air filte...

Re: Zoe menu items

The woman to email (not that I have) is one who has
Made the U tube video about the Zoe.

She is head of electric cars at Renault Australia.

The feedback staff defer to her but they now have standard answers - no to the connection via Telstra network and “no plans” to import larger engine.

Re: Is the Renault Zoe Warranty Voided If Used With A Non Renault Z.E. 1.4 Certified Charging Station?

I don’t know what legacy mode is. It is a 3 phase set to maximum - around 18 months old - we got the first model X in Victoria. I find Zoe seems to take if charger is off at switch and has Been off. I unlock Zoe cap / plug charger in and then walk back to switch and turn on. This works around 90% of...

Re: Is the Renault Zoe Warranty Voided If Used With A Non Renault Z.E. 1.4 Certified Charging Station?

I’ve owned Zoe since March - charging at home with Tesla walk charger and it doesn’t always take the first time. Renault Essendon (Melbourne, vic) openly tell owners and potential owners of the Zoe to use Tesla chargers at shopping centres etc! I also use a portable unit purchased from evnomics.com....

Re: Our new Zoe

Yes - leadfooting fine and I love burning off big 4 wheel drives that pull up in left (or right) lane at lights thinking they will be in front - the 0-40km/hr is really
Good in my view!

Re: Our new Zoe

It’s a lovely car:) I haven’t found mine sluggish when I floor it!

When I went to that dealership in March the older salesman said they couldn’t get enough as water companies and power companies were snapping them up!

Response from Renault Australia

(Part 1 odd because I have the app on my iPhone)

Thank you for your online enquiry.

At this stage there is no iPhone app for the Zoe in Australia and Renault Australia have no plans at this stage for releasing the Zoe with a larger engine.

Re: Zoe charging

Does anyone know if this is suitable for charging Zoe from a Type 1 outlet: Type 1 to Type 2 EV Adapter Cable 32A One supplier of these cables has said that it will not work with Zoe however another supplier openly advertises that they are suitable for Renault EVs. I would hate to blow up my Zoe ......

Re: Zoe charging

I have just ordered the second option LE link Bluetooth LE
OBD II Dongle. The CanZE app lists this as compatible and I like fact the it says it’s compatible with IPhone.

I’ll report back as to whether or not it works.

Regards
Tom

Zoe R110

Hi from Bendigo in Victoria. I’ve owned my Zoe since March - first private owner - none of that “we only sell to corporates/government” nonsense applied in practice. Once I knew what dealer and they had the whiff of a sale they were happy to talk. Good news now second VIC EV dealer in Essendon so on...

Re: Zoe charging

I have downloaded the iPhone app Z.E. services my Z.E. RENAult. When I try to register Australia is not an option / Austria is though! I did ask Renault when I got the car but I’ll do again. From what I gather in Uk, You can pay an annual subscription to Renault - via a dealer- to stay connected via...

Re: Zoe charging

Hi, I live in Bendigo Victoria and have owned a Zoe since March (first private sale in Victoria). We have a Tesla wall point at home as well as a 3 phase power point. In car I carry a portable charger purchased from Jetcharge in North Melbourne. I just had a quick question around the connectivity - ...
