Re: Zoe floor mats

Actually, we might be interested in a set, my partner wants floor mats for the new car, we are trying to protect as much of the interior from the dogs as possible...

Doing a quick check, at 4 sets inc shipping, it's around $82 a set, plus whatever shipping from VIC or wherever to here.

Re: New Zoe! Way to get the 15A ZE Ready Portable EVSE?

We just bought one of these for our new Zoe: https://www.evolutionaustralia.com.au/product-page/portable-evse-ev-charger-10a-15a-switchable I upgraded the garage wiring yesterday, added a 40A RCBO for a future fixed EVSE and a 15A socket with its own RCBO for the portable, so was charging it yesterd...

They probably will, I reckon Renault must be close to making a loss on these anyway.

Re: No more Zoe in Australia

Well, there's still a fair few on carsales, they really are quite a bargain. We just did the trip into town to register it, all good, just have to put the plates on and wait for the EVSE to turn up, but we have a few more trips in reserve until we need to charge. The trip in was bizarre, we left wit...

Re: No more Zoe in Australia

Zoe arrived this morning, Congrats! But, did it come from Launceston or Victoria? Victoria, Essendon Renault wouldn't let us back out of the deal without penalties. Just going off in a few mins to get it registered, have a stupid question. Fitting the plates to the front is simple, just drill into ...

Re: No more Zoe in Australia

Well, we just heard from AEVA that there are some Zoes available here in Launceston, so we are looking as to whether we can get one of those, dependent on whether the VIC dealer lets us cancel (not holding my breath on that one), would rather buy from a local dealer. If the VIC dealer lets us cancel...

Re: No more Zoe in Australia

Yes, well, given we got it so cheap, we've decided that if it plays up, it gets fixed under warranty then probably gets sold, we most likely won't lose money on the deal, or not a lot anyway, but fingers crossed, it will be reliable.

Re: No more Zoe in Australia

Yes, we had been waiting on something to come along and were considering a second hand Leaf, but a brand new Zoe at less cost was hard to pass up. Just hope we don't have any of the problems that have been reported here by some owners.

Re: No more Zoe in Australia

We just bought one of the last Zoes available here, last week a few of them went up on carsales as a ship had arrived with a bunch of them that were delayed due to covid. Combined with Renault running them out, the dealers just wanted them gone, so we got it for $36k plus ORC. We are waiting for it ...

PV diversion EV charger

Did a quick search on the forum and didn't see any posts to it, thought some people here would like to know about a new EVSE that can charge an EV using excess output from a solar array (instead of sending that energy to the grid). It is the Zappi, is on indiegogo at the moment at https://www.indieg...
