I have decided to challenge myself and drive 1000kms back to Castlemaine.

Will the Tesla charging stations get bolshi and not allow me to charge, even if I pay and have an adapter?

Plugshare is probably the most up-to-date list there is. If you take a 3 phase to single phase adapter you can access a few more charge points. The generator is probably unnecessary, and besides it takes up a lot of space. That makes a whole lot of sense ... the 3 phase to single phase adapter ... ...

No, I wouldn't be running the genni while driving! I just thought there are gaps in the PlugShare network. I could stop, boil the billy and charge with the generator. It only has a range of 75-80kms. Not sure the version ... it is a 2009, but has had an "upgrade" ... I live in Castlemaine where they...

LONG DISTANCES IN A BLADE

Newbie Question: Is it possible to range extend a Blade by carrying a little generator in the boot? I realise this is probably a dumb question ... I want to travel from Sydney to Melbourne. There don't seem to be enough public charging stations yet to make this a breeze. I know some people just pay ...
