new chev bev and phev coming 2 years

Great to hear evil GM is working harder in the EV market but their product is no better than a previously Oz lovally made Hyundai Getz EV This is so ugly and cheap looking Im surprised they havent canned it yet. Its nothing like their awesome 90s effort with EV1 http://image.motortrend.com/f/roadtes...

SAAB EV 170 Miles

Im and many are so tired of try hard Black duco cars, would prefer old saab peppermint green or something more traditionally styled like the early 9X much like BMWs effort on the new mini and other retro remakes of older classics. looks like just a subaru with a facelift in try hard black. Heres som...

Australian made batteries for EV

Theres a few choices for cheap lightweight sub 650 cars with decent wheelbases that are suitable for a fun light EV conversion. My favorite is a datsun b10 which can outhandle almost anything with simple mods, has no need for a brake booster, high nickel steel so little rust & cheap. eg. Datsun ...

The leaf is 2,100,00 yen there or 23,000 aud a 3 kw PV system is 35,000 aud there by Sharp thats the cheapest atm and a lithium 6.6kw pack for the home is around 43,000 there very pricey. What the energy big guts dont know w...

Leaf for home power

If we buy a leaf and not use it in our holiday home in Japan could I use the battery pack on the leaf to charge off-peak at 11 cents during 11pm to 7pm and pump it back into the grid at 33 cents per kw hour? In Japan you are paid 33cents per kw from solar but I didnt want to put solar panels are the...

seems good but the title pic showing the complete unit with the black transormer on the wooden base looks like a Zivan or some kind of brand unit nothing like the inset pic below with the other black unit.

Thank you for the info fellas initially I was thinking of just going through the process for buying a postie bike then selling it when the ebike is ready. Yet these Postie bikes are so sought after they are hard to secure. Id love to know where they auction them!
