Hi
Anybody had to replace their antenna. Mitsubishi have quoted $78, on ebay similar aerials sell for around $10 or less.
Any suggestions.
Thanks

Re: iMiev stopped with RR showing 7km's and 2 bars
Hi all
Thanks for the replies. Good news I managed to get it to a 10amp plug in the street and charged it for 30 minutes to get home.
What a pain, well at least I know now to not rely on the RR below 10km, I'll be more careful.
Cheers

iMiev stopped with RR showing 7km's and 2 bars
Hi This morning my imiev stopped with 7km's range available and 2 bars? I was 3 km's from home.... The compliance plate says 8/2010. Not sure of the build date? I'm only getting around 60kms of range, do I have any options with warranty? I don't want to have to pay $200 plus for a tow truck what opt...

What to replace i-MiEV with?
Yes it's a bit disheartening, I suppose we just need to be patient !!
I'm guessing in about 3 to 5 years we won't need to own a car anymore. We just download the Tesla ride sharing app and tell it where we need to go.
It will be much cheaper than owning a car !! Can't wait.

Recalls 2016
We had 4 recall items done at Chadstone Mitsi. They had the car for for only 2 days. Yes have noticed a slight increase in RR from mid 90's to low to mid 100's, had a big drive day 2 weeks ago after recall service and did 92 km's with RR down to zero at days end. Our recall's were: - Turn signal and...

Nice to hear. I also spoke to Nissan and they sent me the CarWings number N201xxxx and pw. I tried entering the CARWINGS details into the car and pressing Activate but I keep getting a verbal message that says: "connect to information centre" So I rang Nissan back and they said bring the car into a ...

Thanks for your help, I'll give Nissan a call on Monday to register as there isn't anywhere on that page to register and my NissanConnect login details don't work there.

No luck, I work with computers and own several websites but this app and registration is terrible.
My phone is connected to the car but it doesn't pickup that link in the App.
I've registered but can't choose a LEAF. I wasted about an hour trying to figure this out and am very frustrated.

Can people suggest 1, which is the best Android App for connecting and do I need to register with Nissan first or do I just need the VIN? I tried previously but didn't get anywhere?
Thanks

We recently changed from an iMiev to a LEAF. With the imiev the previous drive economy definately helped the next range reading.

Did I break any laws?
You were saying you plugged in for approx. 40 mins. 40/60 x 1500 watts = 1000 watts I pay .20 cents per 1kw of power from my supplier Diamond Energy (very happy with them btw) and I'd say the council actually pays less than that. Usually large users have a better rate than households. So yes you did...

I would have plugged in straight away and just nicely explained to anybody that questioned me what I was doing and that the amount of electricty needed was only worth approx. $0.20.

iMiev battery size
Hi I'm in Melbourne and I'm selling our awesome little iMiev. Had a call from someone wanting to know the battery size? I thought they were all 16 kWh capacity but he said there is two sizes 10.5 kWh and 16 kWh. Is there any easy way to tell? We are getting a range of approx. 90 to 100 km's. My car ...

I-MiEV oops almost ran out
Was on full battery and 85km on RR when I left home on a 65km trip from Camberwell to Gisborne which is 443m elevation. When I arrived I had 13 km remaining. Left about 7 hours later after charging for 1 hr (it's a long story) and had 29 km on RR with about 7 bars I think. The total journey to where...

I-MiEV oops almost ran out
Almost ran out of battery yesterday, nothing showing on RR or battery indicator. Made it to a fast charger in Coburg and when I plugged it in the battery analysis (fast charger does this before it starts) said the battery still had 10% available. Good to know but still not a nice feeling. Can't wait...

Yes I bought that one too but off Ebay, as I couldn't be bothered making one up myself and it is a safer option too.

Had a small scare today, got down to 2km left to go with no bars on the battery indicator. So thought I'd better start carrying a 10amp adapter. Just found these: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ampfibian-Mini-15A-to-10A-Converter-Adapter-RCD-for-Caravan-RV-15-Amp-10-Amp-/201281662585 Or there is this on...
