Johny, Hope you find what suits your needs. Adverse, sorry, didn't read your post otherwise I wouldn't have posted. Primarily I responded to to an email notification of AEVA posting that I subscribe to. Albeit after a stuttering start, I eventually got to the point that I have used the tape (first h...

8,000v per layer, 260c, 950psi tensile strength and is water tight. It has no sticky glue but welds to itself in a second or two and gets stronger. Once welded to itself it becomes one piece no going back once stuck together. Being silicone it can easily be cut with a sharp blade if required. I've u...

List of cars with electric power steering pumps
A friend of mine picked up a reasonably priced electric pump only to find out it required CAN bus input to work. He waisted hours trying to get it working, eventually going and buying another that was less complex.
Just a word of warning to do some homework.

The graph posted above indicates the differing speed of the output shaft given a constant speed of the input shaft. But why? Here is my crude way of explaining it AND why the faces of the universal joints MUST be parallel. As we know, time x distance = speed. and because we can't change time, and th...

Correction/Clarification needed about my previous post: A friend of mine who has spent the last few decades in the motor racing scene (last one in Karting) passed on some comments in relation to my post. "...Accessible, cost effective for new entrants (<10k for the whole set-up)..." He agreed with ...

Australian Grass Root EV Racing
If it's grass root racing we're after then I think we have to chase the needs of the masses to entice them into the thrill of the technology, cause racing in an event with a single EV wouldn't be much fun, basically this means: as main stream, accessible and affordable as possible. This thread seem ...

All of the local and national karting clubs and associations comply to the international standards. A couple of things to remember is that karting folk dedicate their time, money ...

Hi Andrew, Sorry for the delay, but I've been travelling a bit of late. Since then, I'm lucky if I get 1 per day (in total) and the sender is "AEVA". ...

I see what you say Woody, but digging around the web site, it implies that this engine has gone through an evolution or two, though I admit this might be just propaganda.
