WTB: Vectrix (or functional equivilant)

Vectrix150V wrote: I've got one that I need to sell - In Newcastle. I've sent you an email.

Ok got that. Thanks.

Just in the middle of a crazy busy time with selling my house. But it sounds really promising.

Nissan Note E Power specs

Maybe one rating is the petrol engine and one is the electric motor? It would make sense to have the electric motor at a higher rating for acceleration and the petrol motor close to the average power requirement.

Nissan Note E Power specs

So I'm reading up about these cars, and there is a bunch of disagreement on the actual power rating of the electric motor. Some say it's 40kw and some says it's 80kw . The Nissan Japan website doesn't clear it up either, nor wikipedia. Any one have some more authoritative info on the actual output o...

It's 20km each way, and I don't think I can charge at work. In any case I'm planned to have at least 50km in a worst case scenario: cold, lots of hills, headwind etc. So 70+km in normal conditions.

WTB: Vectrix (or functional equivilant)

So hours later it came back up our street and I got another look at it. I think it was a Vectrix, the 3 round dials for the instrument display, the longer length of the body. I was surprised at how loud the engine whine was, like ICE loud.... :( That's certainly making me think twice. It was pushing...

WTB: Vectrix (or functional equivilant)

So I was just outside striping the peeling paint on my house, and I hear the quiet whine of an electric motor coming down the street. Lo and behold a largish red scooter with a big "electric" stenciled down the side drives past. I didn't immediately recognize it, maybe it was a Vectrix? But in the f...

Ok point taken. I guess I'm fishing for historical info on what their prices have been in the last few years, not trying to bargain someone down to the bottom.

WTB: Vectrix (or functional equivilant)

Yes definitely. In fact I'm aiming for 110 capable. I do find myself out on the M4 every now and then, and don't want to be not able to keep up with traffic. The guy selling the green one on gumtree got back to me last night. It's running SLA batteries, and he's claiming it'll do 70-80km on a charge...

The batch they were talking about were about $16.8k and are all gone now. The one listed for $19k is a private sale and the $23k one is a dealer.

Mitsubishi Berwick & Ryde

The last car from Ryde has just got sold, so no more i-miev for sale in NSW. Bugger... I was still considering that one. Need to get on with selling the ICEs first. The current model i-MiEVs are available, but only to order. It seems like most of the 2012s didn't sell until they halved the asking p...

I haven't got one yet, just trying to figure out what owning one would be like. Took a 2010 for a test drive last week.

Plugshare... Thanks for that. I spent the last hour looking at all the charge points in Sydney and up the freeway to Newcastle (i.e. effectively none!). My understanding is that the iMiev only supports slow charging or Chademo. Meaning you can't fast* charge anywhere in Sydney (bar that one Chademo...

It is indeed.

So I guess the next question... is there a map of EV charging points in Australia?

I haven't found much info anywhere. Tesla have nice easily scrollable/zoomable maps of all the Superchargers. The non-Tesla community needs the same.

Mitsubishi Berwick & Ryde

Remember Ryde has about 20 cars, not just the few listed on carsales. I went and test drove one last week and the sales rep said it was the last of the batch. So that's the end of the ex-lease ones for the moment I imagine. The question in my mind is, what would the range be on these 5 year old car...
