Is the i-MiEV rear engined?
Hello! If you follow mikeduftie's definition it is mid engined. Have a look to the car: http://www.arpem.com/coches/coches/mitsubishi/i-miev/fotos/2010/mitsubishi-i-miev-5p-mecanica.jpg The motor itself is in front of the axle, the gearbox or better the differential is directly in line with the axle...

If you look to my recording at http://www.spritmonitor.de/en/detail/532466.html you see my normal driving style. Most km are commuting 20km to the office and 20km back to home on country roads. These values are measured from wall. So the allover average from battery is 14.588Wh/17.500Wh*15,1kWh/100k...

Recharging tooks 17.500Wh, measured via dedicated Ferraris-counter. So with 14.588Wh used, i have 20% loose at charging or 83% efficiency for the whole batterysystem with charging-unit. Regarding battery degration: it seems to me, that Mitsubishi follows the strategy to give us always the same batte...

Hello! Last year i did a trip around Neusiedlersee, Burgenland, Austria - see one caniOn screenshot above. To get a feeling for battery degration, i did this trip today again. Battery temperature was today a little bit higher as last year (2014: 19,1°C -> 21,3°C, 2015: 23,4°C -> 25,8°C). I discharge...

Hello Malm! Last year i have done this: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-EWul6xea7sY/U0Wp8JOHDVI/AAAAAAAAAlA/5EcjDVnE9-E/w1278-h702-no/pict_140409_220653.png So i used 15.328Wh - 760Wh = 14.568Wh (98% DoD) ... 100%DoD should be then 14.865Wh real useable capacity. I'll repeat this trip this year. ...

I will take the same 5% SOC test from 3-4 bars and then do the same test at 14-15 bars this should give some voltage spread and see what numbers I get. Hello Kurt! The bars form the dashboard represent different Wh. So this is not an accurate method, also working with small ranges like 5% and inter...

I also think 5%SoC charging/using is not suitable to calc whole battery capacity, because it's unknown to us, how SoC is calculated and if this is linear over the whole range. Why not using f.e. 90%DOD or even more? I have done this twice with 98%DOD - see elweb.info Thread . I get out first time 14...

Hi kurt I have used my own mx, acmotor's mx and batman dongles. Both my mx and acmotor's mx had dropoff issues if BT Audio was on. This is with nexus 7 gen 1 tablet. Hmmm that reminds me. I should probably do a latest mx test with other BT devices turned off Somehow martin has been lucky with his e...

one thing that could be an issue with the OBDlink MX is its finding an interference free bluetooth channel. today the Nexux 7 tablet kept going to 0 shortly after connecting at 400fps. I re-paired the tablet and now it is more stable for now. the batman dongle doesn't seem to have this issue. perha...

Hello! If you touch the left block, beginning with "RR", ending with "Wh/km", you'll get a screenshot file in /sdcard/bt_can. filename starting with pict_ You can also define a screen capture intervall (f.e. every 10 secs) with such files. Then you can easily make a fast motion video f.e. from panel...

Hello Kurt! The heater and airconditioner do not use constant amps. For me, it's only possible to calculate charging efficency comparing energy out from battery, measured with caniOn and energy in, measured with a energymeter at your plug. I use a Ferraris-energymeter in my electrical cabinet. Have ...

5000whr out but 5400whr in . There could be a number of reasons for the discrepancy. Hello Kurt! Don't forget cell chemistry has also an efficiency of maybe 90%. So you lost energy on loading cells - this energy get in heating the cell during loading. The other point is cell balancing, but i do not...

No, not to 0%, only near to. I do it from 100 to 2%.
I'm interested in the capacity you get out. So do a long trip please and show us a screenshot from Trip Timer.

For me, only batterie capacity out is interesting. This is the reference of battery condition. Input is not so interesting, because ist's more efficient to load with 230V/16A as with 110V/8A. So you have to check efficiency of charger also. That's interesting for the money you have to pay for drivei...

Until last summer, without canion, I didn't take to much care with hot temperatures Hello! I suspect some cells in your car are degrated much more then the others. So SoC calc/estimate is difficult at all. It's more difficult or impossible if some cells are in poor condition. It's not clear to me h...

A second time some weeks later a got out 15.000Wh.

I'm also dreaming from that to read some more data from the can-bus! Sending mitsu your btcan.db will be a better idea, so all data can be analysed by mitsu.
