This is a wonderful story of Richard McN's anticlockwise circumnavigation of our great country. Fantastic photos and stories about how to charge an EV in the middle of a dessert. Enjoy.

Help Ripperton Build a New Battery!
Hi a new set of 520 4Ah cells from YGS will cost $9000AUD ($6300USD) shipped. Thats 8.4kWh 42s12p. the current pack was 7kWh and is still charging up to 4.2v each cell so I am building a new 12p pack with the used cells. The main reason the pack keeps blowing up is I have turned the power settings i...

Of course Ive already pulled mine apart because theres no such thing as non resettable and I reset mine back to 0.01 instead of 0.19. Very tricky little interlocking crank handle from the counter/driver unit over to the rolling digit frame. Get the white plastic facia off first with bent circlip pli...

Cancelled - EIG cells available through EV-Power!
as a general rule the higher the "C" rating of a cell the less cycles it will live through . the ones you linked to look like hobby cells and most of them are only good for 80 to 200 cycles Only if you thrash them in a racing situation. Thats why they are good for race bikes, you cant fit many cell...

Gone to a different motor concept as these were too involved and time consuming to modify. They would be great for a frame mount DH app as they are already bracketed with ...
