Hi, same thought as 4springs, Athol Mullen asked 4 cert from licd leco, Peter McNeill local did it, only problem was measuring earth leakage. Peter used a "megger " ?. Measurement was within specs. Only 90v system but DC HV is 60V +. Sherpa Ute is now in 3rd year of rego and will do 2 retu...

Re: EV-Only "Fuel" Tax On The Govt Agenda
In the 70,s my truckie friend had to keep a log book of his journey,s, apparently speedo,s could be rewound with a drill on the speedo cable and we all know truckies could not be trusted, unlike used car dealers . So now this could be policed maybe by a gps device transmitting all trip records ...

Survey monkey is a commercial firm. They also conducted a survey for an over 55,s village near our house. It was skewed positively whereas my own personto person contact survey in the neighbourhood indicated strong opposition. The information you volunteer can be slanted for a preferred result.

Good news from Piman. Some 15 years ago a friend bought an AU Falcon privately in Sydney. Ad said it was "one owner, good condition, low K's bla blah." He didn't use the old Revcheck. It turned out to be a good car longterm, but he was never really able to find any joy in owning it after l...

Re: Auxiliary Battery - Why?
Interesting point from T1 terry about the auxiliary FLA only being charged to 13.2v causing sulphation.Surely a small inverter could remove this issue? Ah, but then the point was raised about 12v failure requiring a regular service visit. Onselling at it's best. " DO YA WANT FRIES(12v battery) ...

Re: RETROFIT SOUND GENERATOR FOR EV?
In my Suzuki carry I fitted a button siren tone for use in carparks. It annoyed the heck out of me but I saw pedestrians look at the van and still continue on their way. As drivers, we still have a duty of care, even to those belonging to the Order of the Perpetually Mesmerised by Technology. As pre...
