Re: PHEV Loss of Km Range with Battery.

Hi @reecho, is it a general loss of capacity or just a cell or two? If the latter, I have a bunch of cells recently pulled from my PHEV by Daniel at evShop Perth that he says are in excellent condition. If you can't get satisfaction under warranty and you have a small number of problematic cells......

Re: PHEV Loss of Km Range with Battery.

Ouch. After 25000kms i'm down to 81.8% capacity or 31.1Ah. Not ideal. 800 odd charge cycles as well over just under 3 years of ownership.

Destruction is the only option unless you intend to import them in low volume.

Re: Need Help with J1772 wiring. Gelco EVSE ??

I got the TC charger direct from manafacturer in China , made to suit my pack voltage & WITHOUT CAN interface , since I have hears so many tales of woe about CAN incompatibility. Works PERFECT with ZEVA BMS using the manual hookup method . No need for CAN there at all. Note that the ZEVA BMS does s...

SEA Electric have stated that with some increase in volumes the prices will drop to a point where they will be competitive to the Hiace equivalent.

Re: HOW LARGE CAN I CHARGE?

My 2008 Blade Electron is basically a Model T EV. Can some clever clogs tell my how high I can go with a charger? If it has a Type 1 connection ... J1772 ... will my battery management system handle it? I mean, a wall plug is the base line ... 10 - 15 amps ... but can I plug into the system at Euro...

Re: Is the Renault Zoe Warranty Voided If Used With A Non Renault Z.E. 1.4 Certified Charging Station?

I’ve owned Zoe since March - charging at home with Tesla walk charger and it doesn’t always take the first time. Renault Essendon (Melbourne, vic) openly tell owners and potential owners of the Zoe to use Tesla chargers at shopping centres etc! I also use a portable unit purchased from evnomics.com...

Re: PHEV Loss of Km Range with Battery.

The PHEV eats the battery with low tyre pressures. My 2014 build at 25000kms gets 44-46kms after an overnight charge. I am using a 16A EVSE to max out the onboard charger though..

Re: Hyundai Australia Kona EV info

I guess if they manage to get it here before the Model 3 they will want to capitalise on that by selling it at more than Model 3 prices. More like equal it. With the current exchange rate, I''d be surprised if the entry level Model 3 came in at under $55 000, and I think $60 000 is more likely. Thi...

Is there a possibility for custom firmware for the 3024MSE?.
As a point of interest, what features were you hoping for in a patched firmware?
LifePo4 charging support for AVASS cells... :-). But it appears setting bulk and float to the same voltage might work.

Re: PIP-4048MS inverter

Is there a possibility for custom firmware for the 3024MSE?. Sorry Reecho, but no. At least not from Coulomb and I. As you can imagine, it is very time-consuming work. Keeping up with PIP-4048MS firmware, and hopefully soon PIP-5048MS firmware, when new version come out, is as much as we can handle...
