Just wondering if anyone has looked into using phase change materials in their EV conversions, or even their homes, particularly as a means of regulating the internal temperatures of their battery boxes in either a passive or active configuration?

These guys offer PCM sheeting primarily aimed at housing which could potentially be used as a battery box lining:

I've also been reading up on some research papers about using microencapsulated PCMs for use in hydronic systems which seems quite interesting also.

Anyone have any real world experience with this type of technology?
