Ford Laser EV update

This topic is to blog the updates to the Red FordLaser EVwith a Proulse Controller and 15kW Induction Motor both with water cooling.
Feel free to post comments and questions regarding this Conversion.
A similar conversion was done aroun the same initail conversion in 1991.
It was a white Ford Laser TX3 its on EValbum here at 215
I need to make one for the Red Laser on EVAlbum too.
Heres an early shot before the updated battery tray went in you can see the motor connected to the manual gearbox transmission with clutch.
On the 19 Dec 2010.
It now has new 13 x 85Ah 6 cell AGM Lead batteries (Neuton).
Six in the boot, 7 under the bonnet.
We just opened it up, the Propulse FR-series (eg FR-22), as the inbuilt 4kW Charger was showing current on the RS232 diagnostic port but no current was flowing, to find a blown 20A Fuse.
If any one has experience with the Propulse or know of an EV Road based or industrial factory vehicle please let us know.
