rod did track in 1 min 46 secs with electric go kart
Clay put out the request to have more e go kart competitors

allegedly there was a $20 k petrol go kart

Thanks to MDK for bringing Tesla.
Surprising how a few people didn't know that it was a Tesla.
Thought we were preaching to the converted.

Thanks Gerald for helping with track marshalling.

Alan from Barbs was there. Paramedic.

I had to use petrol to get to RAC DC FC cos I couldn't charge due to students using 10A for charging their 100Wh bike batteries

note:
the 15 amp socket is in the kitchen, was used in the past for deep fryer.

Yes it was amazing. I heard a few people comment about the i3 - "oh look an electric car" then proceed to walk straight past the Tesla.

But after (silently) fanging it around the go-kart track for the "parade laps" there was suddenly a huge crowd eager to see what exactly the big grey car was...

I also got to be pace-car for the little student-built EVs (at 10km/h)

It was like mother EV leading her brood of EVlings on their first adventure...
